Bags, passports & payments
Why passport details must match exactly
Quick answer
Airlines check names and passport numbers against the document you travel with. Once sent to the airline, details cannot be changed on your booking.
Good to know
- Enter names exactly as printed on the passport.
- Passport numbers contain letters and digits only — no spaces.
- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months after departure.
