Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Passenger details: names, title, gender, date of birth.
• Travel documents: passport number, issuing country and expiry, where the airline needs them.
• Contact details: email address and phone number.
• Booking details: flights, dates, baggage, booking references and prices.
• Payment details: handled by Stripe. We only receive confirmation of payment and limited card information such as the card type and last four digits.
• Technical data: approximate location (to show your local currency), browser type, pages visited and error reports, used to run and improve the site.
• If you book flights or provide details on behalf of other passengers, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they consent to their data being processed in accordance with this privacy policy.

Our passport photo checker processes your photo entirely in your browser. The photo is not uploaded to or stored by us.

2. Why we use it

• To perform our contract with you: creating reservations and tickets with airlines, taking payment, sending confirmations and updates, handling changes, cancellations and refunds.
• Legal obligations: accounting, tax, fraud prevention and airline/government passenger data requirements.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, fixing errors and understanding how the site is used.
• Consent: marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who we share it with

To operate FlyWiseGo and deliver your bookings, we share data with trusted third parties categorized as follows:

• Airlines: The operating carriers responsible for your flights, to create and manage your reservations and tickets.
• Flight distribution and GDS technology partners: Our underlying infrastructure providers that connect our platform to airline inventory systems for search and ticketing.
• Payment processors (such as Stripe): To securely handle payments and transactions.
• Cloud hosting, database, and email infrastructure providers: Who process technical data and communications strictly on our instructions to run the website.
• Government and regulatory authorities: When strictly required by law, such as mandatory border control, customs, or API/passenger name record (PNR) security mandates.

We never sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Airlines and some providers are outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK we rely on adequacy decisions or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. Sending passenger data to an overseas airline is necessary to provide your booking.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for up to 6 years after your trip to meet tax and legal requirements. Passport details are kept only as long as needed for the booking and any related changes or claims. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, or receive a copy. Email support@flywisego.com or write to us at Monsoon and Leaf Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We will respond within one month. Some data must be kept to meet legal duties or complete a booking. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies and local storage

We use essential browser storage to remember your search, selected flight and currency, and to keep checkout working. If you arrive through a partner link, the partner's code is kept in your browser's session storage (cleared when you close the tab) so it can be applied at checkout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and card payments are handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems.
